What you'll pay and when

Divorce is hard enough. Getting funding shouldn't be.

We make it faster and clearer to get the legal support you need, without upfront costs or hidden fees.

For example:

If you borrow £25,000 on day one and then repaid after 12 months at an interest rate of 19.5% per annum (variable). Representative 20.8% APR, then the total amount payable is £30,175. How repayment works

We cut confusion, not corners.  We're clear about how repayment works, so you’ll get no surprises later.
  • There's no monthly payments or upfront costs, our loans are designed around these situations, which is why you usually only repay the loan once your settlement has realised.
  • Your solicitor will repay your loan, including interest and any charges, directly from your settlement when your case is finalised.
  • This repayment happens before any funds are paid to you.
  • Because of this, the amount you receive from your settlement will be reduced by the value of the loan.
  • If your settlement doesn’t cover the full balance, you’ll need to pay the remaining amount yourself.
  • If your case ends early or is discontinued, you’ll still be responsible for repaying the loan to us.
  • If the loan terms are breached, or your case runs longer than 24 months, repayment may be required before your settlement is received.
We do not provide legal or financial advice. If necessary please seek independent advice.

Seamless process from start to finish

Seamless process from start to finish. Could not fault the service. Without access to funding to support her legal fees, our client could not have afforded representation. It helped her to achieve an outcome that now leaves her financially comfortable and cushioned for the rest of her life.

Ampla finance a lifeline in the fight of my life

Ampla finance are and continue to be a huge lifeline to myself to be able to divorce my narcissistic abuse husband of over a decade, without the extra worry and anxiety of dealing with how I fund my divorce. It is a service that I am sure not many women and men in my position know about. If you know you have a reasonable amount of marital assists please consider asking solicitor about a litigation loan as it’s the best way to help you fight the fight of your life to be able to live your life in peace and financially secure. It’s a short term debt to a long term gain for your future. This company have been very professional and very much empathetic with my breakdown of my marriage. And would like to thanks them.

Why choose an Untangled
family law loan?

Without Untangled
Purpose-built

General borrowing options aren’t built for legal timelines or the complexities of divorce proceedings, which can make access to funds slower or more complex.

Repayments

Most other options require repayments to start immediately.

Transparency

Fees, rates, or timelines may be unclear, and progress updates can be inconsistent.

Expert support

Mainstream lenders may have limited understanding of legal processes and offer little guidance on specialist divorce funding.

Peace of mind

Borrowing can add stress or risk, especially when repayments start before a settlement is reached.

With Untangled

Our loans are designed specifically for family law cases, managed directly between Untangled, yourself, and your solicitor.

Repayments

No required monthly repayments or upfront costs, as the loan is repaid from the settlement when your case concludes.

Expert support

Managed by specialists who understand family law funding, ensuring that every loan is handled with fairness and empathy.

Peace of mind

Fair, flexible, and designed to relieve financial pressure during a difficult time.

Family Law Documents

Go from stuck to sorted with expert guidance. Our family law experts have created guides to help both clients and their representatives untangle the complex.
